The Cochabamba Project

We are a not for profit co-operatve society which uses our members' funds (raised through our public share offer) to support a project known as ArBolivia, which is working with almost 1000 families, spread across the western rim of the Amazon rainforest. In these areas impoverished migrant communities are causing rapid deforestation through slash and burn farming. ArBolivia provides comprehensive land management support to enable these families to farm more efficiently and tyo establish a sustainable forestry enterprise using native tree species.
