Hug began life as an ethical clothing range and was one of the first companies to produce Fairtrade certified clothing in the UK.

From its range of clothing evolved the brilliant Little Green Radicals range- organic, Fairtrade clothes created specifically for free range babies and kids! We’re proud to be pioneers in the Fairtrade field and the Fairtrade certified cotton we use in all our products is really important to us.

By choosing Fairtrade you’re helping small-scale cotton farmers, their families and whole communities. Fairtrade improves lives by providing a guaranteed fair price for the famers plus an additional social premium that is spent on essential medical care and education for their families and the whole community!

The organic cotton we use means the farmers and their families don’t run the risk of bring poisoned by nasty pesticides and our customers get clothes that won’t irritate the skin of their little ones! In addition, the water used for dying our garments is treated and recycled and the dyes are azo, formaldehyde and chlorine free!
