Worms for your Compost

Most people are surprised to hear that there are about 28 different species of worm living in the UK soils - all with different roles.

For us in Worm City, we are Eco professionals in the worm and the green gardening industry. We recognise the different types of Worms that live in different soil depts: Deep, Shallow and Leaf litter. 

Although worms are commonly found in the gardens, doing their magic, did you know that worms are also extremely abundant in your compost?

We have a mixture of all the composting worms:

• Red Worm (red wrigglers)

• Tiger Worm (Manure Worm)

• Dendrobaena (Dendras or European Nightcrawler)
